IdeaWiki has been set up to provide a forum for the raising and discussion of ideas between people around the world. Ideas can happen at any time and in any place, but few people have the time or resources to develop or pursue them. By having an online community where everyone can share their ideas, useful thoughts that might otherwise have been lost can be captured and opportunities to pursue them opened. The initial aim of the site is to capture practical ideas, such as how one might improve a product design or process, but ideas come much bigger than this and the site will undoubtedly grow with them. As you will have noticed, this site is rather new (created April 2008) and in need of content. Go on, be one of the first to contribute and help make this site grow! Thank you.

Where you start will depend on whether you are searching for ideas or wishing to contribute them. If you are here to contribute and you are new to Wikis then please consult the MediaWiki pages. If you are searching for an idea then use the search box over in the left column. If you are familiar with editing wikis then go straight to the category of most relevance (or add a new one), or search for the idea title on the left and use the create page option. Templates are currently under development.
