I'm not sure wiki foundation has this, but rather than making categories, ideas should have KEYWORDS. Then searching on various AND and OR clauses of keywords you find the ideas you want. Ideas should also have a development-status and an realizing-status, as well as a rating! These can be done with all kinds of tags. Pashute 11:45, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Keywords rather than categories makes sense. The search function may already help in finding ideas but I need to find out the ranking used. Certainly keywords will be more direct. How would you give an idea a development-status. It is a fair suggestion I'm just not sure how fine grained it would be (In progress: New: Publishable...), and is this for the author to decide? The realization status could have several interpretations. How easy to it is to implement or how well implemented it is already for example.
